The system includes the first magnetically shielded room with full 128 matrix coil capability that will be used for OPM-MEG. This new coil design allows for an impressive level of dynamic field control, ensuring that the highly sensitive magnetometers can be operated even at the heart of the frenetic Zurich centre.
The team at ETH have big plans for the system, hoping to take advantage of the adaptable, wearable system to scan patients across the lifespan.
